What Do Naturopaths and Nutritionists Do?
Looking at the body in a holistic sense, Naturopaths aim to treat the cause of health conditions, rather than the symptoms; therefore getting to the root of the health concern.
A typical naturopathic appointment will cover every body system, as well as diet and lifestyle, and perform several in-clinic diagnostic techniques such as iridology and nail and tongue examination, to help understand each individuals health concerns.
Treatment may include nutritional interventions such as dietary changes, lifestyle recommendations, specific nutritional supplements, or herbal medicines such as naturopathic tinctures or custom made herbal teas.
Herbal and Nutritional medicine used in treatment have been extensively scientifically researched to prove their efficacy in treating a myriad of health concerns.
